Introduction

CO2Shares is an initiative proudly backed by Neutraly. From the very beginning, we committed to go beyond providing carbon services — we wanted to create direct impact for communities and organizations working toward a sustainable future.

That’s why Neutraly dedicates a share of our revenue from every carbon service. For the first three years, 50% of all income from Neutraly’s carbon services will go directly into the CO2Gives. After this period, the percentage may be adjusted, but our mission remains the same: to empower social organizations, NGOs, and community groups — especially those in the environmental sector — to support verified carbon projects for their websites at no cost.

We believe this not only helps these organizations take climate action but also amplifies their sustainability value, inspiring others to take meaningful action.

CO2Gives also welcomes direct contributions from companies and individuals. 100% of these donations are used to purchase verified carbon credits — we do not hold, profit, or use the money in any other way. If needed, we will support our sponsors in sourcing and purchasing the right carbon credits to maximize their impact.

How It Works

We call our collective credit fund the CO2 pool. This is where all Neutraly’s revenue share and public donations are combined. Our support for partner organizations is drawn directly from this pool.

For example: If the CO2Shares contains 5 tons of CO₂, we can fund 5 tons of verified carbon credits on behalf of selected partners.
Once the pool is empty, we temporarily pause the campaign until new funds or credits are added.

Selection Process

We proactively seek out impactful social and environmental partners or receive requests directly from organizations.
After a simple verification of their work and social contribution, we sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) committing to carbon project support for their website for at least one year.
Renewal depends on the availability of credits in the CO2 pool.

Commitment notes

Partners pay no cost for this support.
We commit to supporting verified carbon projects on behalf of the chosen organizations.
Opportunities for joint promotion, awareness campaigns, or co-branding will be discussed on a case-by-case basis to maximize mutual impact.
